Hand-crafted sourdough & small-batch baked goods, made with love in the mountains of West Virginia
I started Mountain Wildflower Bakery because baking has always felt like home to me.
What began as experimenting with sourdough in my own kitchen quickly grew into a passion for creating baked goods that connects people - family, friends, and neighbors gathered around something warm and handmade.
For me, baking is equal parts creativity and community.
I love the process of turning simple ingredients into something beautiful and nourishing, but even more than that, I love the joy of sharing it. Every loaf and every treat is made with care, with the hope that it brings a little comfort and a lot of flavor to your table.
Baking reminds us that good things take time and that the best flavors come from patience, care, and a little bit of wild magic.
You can find me every second Saturday at the Wardensville Second Saturday Markets from 10 AM – 2 PM, through December. Just look for the green gingham tablecloth! I bring fresh sourdough loaves, bagels, cookies, and treats each month.
I also offer weekly pick-up orders. Just send me a message and I’ll bake your bread for pickup.
Also, be sure to keep an eye on my social media for special pop-up markets and holiday offerings - I love to share what’s coming out of the oven!
